| Laurie Blakeslee Thomas joined the University of Findlay’s Center for Terrorism Preparedness as an adjunct instructor and consultant in May of 2003. She is a twenty-one year veteran of law enforcement. She was employed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Sandusky (OH) Police Department. She now specializes in training. She participated in the Transportation Security Administration’s airport personnel training initiative in 2002, the largest civilian training initiative since WWII. She is a certified Vessel, Company, and Facility Security Officer (33 CFR 104, 105.) She is CEO of Public Safety Training, Inc., and she presents in-service training to law enforcement and public safety agencies across the country. |
