The answer is false. The All Hazards Training Center specializes in custom designing Worker Safety Training courses to meet the client's individual needs and conducting them at the client's location. This can provide significant savings in travel and subsistence costs, as well as "lost opportunity" costs while the trainees are traveling. Worker Safety and Health Education, Training and Consulting Services The All Hazards Training Center has conducted all levels of Worker Safety and Health Training since the spring of 1989. These include 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Site Worker, OSHA Hazardous Waste Supervisor, Confined Space Entry Series, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA General Industry and Construction Compliance, Hazardous Materials Chemistry, the new 16-hour OSHA Disaster Site Worker Certificate, as well as all the required Refreshers. In addition The All Hazards Training Center is a member of the OSHA Training Institute through our affiliation with Eastern Michigan University. Through the institute, the OSHA 500 Series for Construction and General Industry Trainer Courses and Respective Update Courses are offered. All courses are conducted routinely on a scheduled basis at the university's training facilities and are also offered at the client's location, as previously mentioned. All courses include an extensive amount of actual hand-on training utilizing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, techniques, and supplies required in the field. In addition, UF specializes in the development and facilitation of table-top and full-scale exercises, as well as our newest venture - webcasting live, interactive Emergency Response Training Scenarios. Live, interactive webcasts are ideal for training multiple levels within an organization from multiple locations in a fully integrated exercise that does not require all of the trainees to travel to the same location.
