Ergonomics Assistance for Any Industry SEEM is offering ergonomics assistance to any industry wanting to reduce the frequency of ergonomic related injuries, and at the same time, improve quality and productivity within the facility. Ergonomics basically is the study of the relationship between a worker and the job performed by the worker. Ergonomics strives to maintain a balance between job demands and workers' capabilities so that a worker's body is functioning optimally with minimal risk for injury.
SEEM is offering a variety of ergonomic related assistance to help companies, either reactively or proactively, get a handle on ergonomics within their facility. This assistance includes: on-site consultation, ergonomic job site analysis including risk factor identification and job site design alternatives to reduce the risk factor exposure, and ergonomic process development (or enhancement for an existing process) to determine an action plan for how ergonomics is integrated within a facility. This process tackles issues including team formation, injury data collection and analysis, job site analysis, job improvements, training, and process monitoring to name a few. The ergonomic education and training may include but is not limited to targeted training for safety/ergonomic team members, general awareness training for all employees, training for engineers, or office ergonomics training.
SEEM's ergonomics assistance can be provided to any industry including manufacturing, medical, office, schools, etc. If you currently have workers suffering from cumulative trauma disorders (such as carpal tunnel syndrome, back pain, tendonitis, etc.) AND/OR want to help prevent those disorders from occurring, this assistance may be just what you need. If you are interested in discussing how SEEM’s ergonomic assistance may benefit your company, please don't hesitate to contact us.
