Introduction
The All Hazards Training Center offers a series of Confined Space Courses that all meet the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, 29 CFR 19.10.146.

The first course in the series is the Confined Space Entrant/Attendant/Supervisor combined course. By taking this course, the trainees will learn the hazards of confined-space entry and how to follow the safety procedures outlined on the Confined-Space Entry Permit. Basic entry equipment and its use and care are emphasized as well as the methods of self-rescue and attendant-assisted rescue. In addition, the written programs and the procedures required to be implemented are explained so entries can be made in a safe and timely manner. Much emphasis is placed on assessment of confined-space hazards, atmospheric monitoring, and ventilation.

The Basic Rescue Course introduces safe, tested rescue techniques. Hands-on training is presented with supervised guidance from experienced instructors to enable the trainee to perform safe, successful rescues of victims. The Intermediate Rescue Course provides trainees with many of the technical skills needed to safely carry out entry-rescues into confined spaces. Emphasis is placed on learning and demonstrating proficiency in the various technical skills by rescuers.
