Degree Programs To download the complete 2009 Workshop Catalog, click here Bachelors Programs The University offers a Bachelors Degree Program in Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management. This program was initiated in the fall of 1986. Since that time, there have been over 500 graduates. Most graduates are currently working in Private Sector Industry in Environmental Compliance, or Safety and Health Compliance related positions. All students are assisted in obtaining summer jobs and Internships in the filed. In addition, students receive academic credit for taking industry recognized training courses. Completion of these training courses make excellent additions to the student's resume. A new Emphasis in Emergency management was recently added. Courses include: Crisis response, Crisis Communications, Business Recovery and other Emergency preparedness Oriented course work. A Bachelors Degree Completion program is also available completely On-line to allow students who have already completed there first two years of schooling a chance to obtain their Bachelors Degree. Masters Programs The University offers a Masters Degree in Environmental, Safety and Health Management. Since its inception in 1994, the Masters program has graduated over 500 students. This program is offered On-line, and currently has students from nearly 30 states participating and several foreign countries. The program is accredited by the Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC). This accreditation indicates the program has been found to have the curriculum, faculty, facilities, and institutional support necessary to provide quality environmental health science and protection education. Students graduating from accredited programs are eligible to participate in the Commission Officer Student Extern Training Program (COSTEP) of the U. S. Public Health Service. Masters Level Certificates were recently added. Designed for students who want to specialize in a particular area, or those who already have a Masters Degree in another discipline, this option allows the student to take 5 courses (15 hours) in a concentrated area. Upon completion of the coursework the student receives a Masters Level certificate in either: Emergency Management, Safety and Health Management, or Environmental Management.
