Introduction
The University offers a Bachelors Degree Program in Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management. This program was initiated in the fall of 1986. Since that time, there have been over 500 graduates. Most graduates are currently working in Private Sector Industry in Environmental Compliance, or Safety and Health Compliance related positions.
All students are assisted in obtaining summer jobs and Internships in the filed. In addition, students receive academic credit for taking industry recognized training courses. Completion of these training courses make excellent additions to the student’s resume.
A new Emphasis in Emergency management was recently added. Courses include: Crisis response, Crisis Communications, Business Recovery and other Emergency preparedness Oriented course work.
A Bachelors Degree Completion program is also available completely On-line to allow students who have already completed there first two years of schooling a chance to obtain their Bachelors Degree.
