| Hospital Decontamination Operations |
|
This course is designed specifically with the hospital in mind. It provides your employees with the skills necessary to decontaminate patients exposed to chemical and biological agents.
Our knowledgeable instructors will discuss characteristics of chemical and biological agents, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, JCAHO and OSHA requirements, and review your existing emergency decontamination plan.
This course also provides practical hands-on exercises using your equipment to help your employees gain experience with the equipment they will use in a real incident. If you do not have equipment, The University of Findlay can bring state-of-the-art decontamination shelters and equipment to your hospital for use during the class.
If you do not have a plan written, we can help by having our qualified staff assist you with writing procedures and plans to successfully decontaminate patients.
