Security Awareness for Truck Drivers
Many companies are working to create or locate available training for basic security awareness for line-haul and cartage drivers to meet government requirements. This course will guide drivers to better understand issues such as:
  • Properly securing their truck and trailer
  • Recognizing seal integrity concerns
  • Inspecting for cargo hold breeches
  • Hi-jack prevention and response
  • Dealing with bomb threats / bio-chemical threats
  • Communications issues and requirements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: truck drivers hauling high value, high risk freight to include hazardous materials/dangerous goods, transportation security managers, dispatchers, dock personnel responsible for uploading/downloading, security officers, warehouse and dock managers/supervisors, trucking & cartage company managers/supervisors, and shipping & receiving personnel.
