Video scenario training is most effective when officers or students are exposed to new and varied scenarios that pertain to current training issues. The University of Findlay's Center for Terrorism Preparedness has the ability and technology that allows us to film and produce high quality scenarios on DVDs at a cost that is affordable to your department. Our DVDs can be run on FATS 100 or 200D systems. In producing scenarios, we use experienced police training officers. Most of our scenarios are based on actual events that have occurred. All of our scenarios address current training issues and are designed to provide your officers with practical, realistic training experiences. Some of the available scenarios include: STREET SURVIVAL This series contains seven scenarios that require officers to think on their feet and use all of their acquired skills to make quick decisions in stressful situations. ACTIVE SHOOTERS IN SCHOOL Contains five scenarios that run continuously. The scenarios are designed to develop officers' team and tactical skills for handling incidents involving active shooter(s) inside of a business or school. STREET PATROL Contains six life-threatening scenarios that officers could experience on any given day. All of the scenarios challenge the officer to utilize all of his or her experience and knowledge to survive each situation. Each scenario contains a branch for taser allowing your agency to enhance officer training and the opportunity to address operational taser issues. NRA PISTOL/SHOTGUN RANGE COURSES The filming takes the officers or students through the NRA pistol and shotgun courses in real time. The targets are scored according to NRA standards.
