| Laboratory Preparedness: Bioterrorism Readiness |

Preparation for responses to future acts of bioterrorism requires that laboratorians be equipped with specific practices and periodic review of standard operating procedures. This 8.0 hour course will review CDC and ODH-recommended laboratory procedures; emphasizing risk assessment, diagnostic methods for rule/out identification of select agents, and surge responses. Hands-on activities will demonstrate PCR and decontamination techniques.
