Threat Assessment Management (TAM)
This course provides trainees with the necessary protocols and guidelines to access and manage the threat of targeted violence by individuals and groups.

This intense and dynamic one-day course is mission critical for those individuals that are responsible for assessing threatening communications and/or threats of targeted violence in the workplace. Categories include employee-employer directed violence, domestic violence spillover, stranger/customer crime and terrorism. During tabletop exercises, attendees will participate as members of a Threat Management Team actively assessing and managing cases. The primary focus is to separate those individuals or groups who make threats from those who pose a threat. Attendees will analyze the threat level at intake, develop an initial security intervention strategy, and recommend investigative and operational procedures designed to manage the threat.

Attendees will learn techniques that can be taken back and implemented at their own facility.
